Its usual Cruz fair as a deal of a lifetime on a top class resort island turns out a lot more complicated than expected. This one is a bit slow to start and had me shortly after lost as to who the criminal was but was wrapped up very neatly with excellent writing as expected from a Liquid Cool story. The latest book in Austin Dragon's Liquid Cool series is a great read. When you open this boo you are in for as wild a ride as the Cruz family! The whole family, Cruz, Dot, JR and little Kat get in on the action along with a collection of crusty Sci Fi writers and sundry others to get to the bottom of a murder on a tropical Caribbean island that has be made into a luxury resort with Jules Vern themed parks.

I love private investigator Cruz! And the Cruz family is adorable. This side-story, cozy mystery in the Liquid Cool series is endearing and captivating, and I had so much fun reading, I was chuckling once and nervous the next! It’s such a fun read, with Cruz’s typical line of detective work, his witty thoughts and self responses, very entertaining and much guessing, sometimes I even forgot I was there for a murder investigation. Lol. The author has a knack to make it so riddled and confusing, creating an intriguing atmosphere. A complete and wonderful change from Cruz’s everyday life. I loved it! I’m looking forward to more Cruz family cyberpunk cozy mysteries, I hope there are more to come!

I held off giving a review until I read all the books in this series and have to say they were all very enjoyable. Lots of action, humor, and quite good mysteries. Also, no swearing or sex, which is quite refreshing considering the genre. These books can be read by all ages with mom and dad not having to worry about their kids will read. Looking forward to more.
